City of West University Place issued the following announcement on Feb 26.
The City of West University Place Water Distribution System remains isolated from incoming surface water from City of Houston and is not affected by the boil water notice issued for areas within Houston All West U water is currently being produced by wells within the City. Our pressure and all residual levels remain at or above regulatory limits.
It is NOT necessary to boil water within the City of West University Place.
Staff continues to monitor reports from the City of Houston and will send out notifications should they be needed.
