WESTCHASE DISTRICT: Churches Host Easter Sunday Services Online

Westchase District issued the following announcement on April 7 

It’s Holy Week. How we worship on Easter Sunday will be different because social and public gatherings are on hold. As a result, churches have transitioned to online broadcasts. Worshipers who want to take part in Easter Sunday Services on April 12 can access the services online at these churches:

Ascension Episcopal Church

Virtual Sunday morning services are held and recorded for Sunday morning prayer service.

Congregation or Ami

Congregation or Ami will hold Passover Day 1 Services on April 9 and Passover Day 2 Services on April 10. Go to Upcoming Events on Congregation or Ami’s website for instructions on see how you can view the services online.

First Methodist Houston

Services will be held at 8:45 and 11:00, and with services being live streamed on its website and on the church’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

Grace Presbyterian Church

Grace will livestream one worship service each Sunday at 10 a.m. during this period of constant change. You can  join Grace’s livestream on Vimeo or on Facebook. Download a House Worship Liturgy guide for use during the service.

St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church

St. Cyril invites all to join its live stream Mass on Facebook. To view the Live Stream on a mobile phone or iPad you will need to use the Facebook App. After the Live Stream Mass is over, you can watch the recording on your mobile phone or iPad by going to St. Cyril’s Facebook page.

St. Cyril’s service schedule:

Sunday: English Mass at 11:00 am

Domingo: Misa en Español a la 1:00 pm

Monday to Thursday: at 11:30 am
