Houston Independent School District issued the following announcement on May 11.
#HISD has named Pedro Lopez Jr., a Houston Police Department assistant chief, as the new chief of HISD Police.
We thank Chief Paul Cordova for his service & wish him well on his new endeavor.
Chief Lopez will assume his new role on May 25. bit.ly/3bsFeBY
