SPRING BRANCH DISTRICT: Watson Explosion Virtual Town Hall – Wednesday, Aug. 19

Spring Branch District issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.

Council Member Peck in partnership with Memorial Assistance Ministries is hosting a virtual town hall meeting with District A on Wednesday, August 19th at 6:00 PM, regarding the Waston explosion that happened on January 24, 2020. The purpose of this town hall is to listen and hear from you about any continued needs related to the explosion so that we can see what we can do to help.

Although no one will be turned away from joining, this meeting is for District A residents who were impacted by the explosion. This meeting will be a live virtual meeting via Microsoft Teams. You do not need a Microsoft account to access this meeting.

If you have a question, there are three ways you can submit your questions or comments:

  1. Send us your questions/comments via email before Tuesday, August 18th at 5pm to districta@houstontx.gov.
  2. Request to speak live at the town hall via phone. Please email us at districta@houstontx.gov before Tuesday, August 18th at 5pm so we can send you the dial in phone number and instructions.
  3. Participate in the live chat room at the town hall. This chat room is available through the link below.
In the interest of time, please make sure your questions are general. If you have a specific question/concern related to your neighborhood, we are happy to address it separately.
