Sheldon Independent School District issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.
We hope everyone has stayed safe today. We have continued to monitor weather reports from local officials. More rain and the potential of flash flooding is expected this evening and overnight in our East Harris County area. Because of this, we have made the decision to operate remotely tomorrow. We will still have virtual classes tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23. We understand we could face technical challenges tomorrow. Please know we are allowing everyone grace as we navigate through this time together. If students cannot log in, we will excuse absences.
