Heights High School issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.
Submissions are now open for the 2021 Rather Prize, a $10,000 award given to the best idea in Texas education. Created by journalist Dan Rather and his grandson Martin, the award is given annually to innovative and implementable ideas originating in Texas classrooms. The winning idea is selected by an independent team at UT-Austin and announced at SXSWedu in March of 2021.
