What happened to the median home valuation in Houston (Harris County) during May?

The median assessed value of a home sold in May in Houston in Harris County rose by $24,911 while total valuation increased by 1.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 2,597 homes sold, with a median home valuation of $225,019 - a 12.4 percent increase over the $200,108 median valuation for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,564 homes sold in Houston in May 2021.
