Median home valuations in Houston (Harris County) rose to $222,320 in the first half of 2022

The median assessed value of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Houston in Harris County rose by $20,964 while total valuation increased by 46.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 14,468 homes sold, with a median home valuation of $222,320 - a 10.4 percent increase over the $201,356 median valuation for the same period of the previous year. There were 9,879 homes sold in Houston in the first half of 2021.
