Congressman Troy E. Nehls of Texas has announced his support for advancing House Concurrent Resolution 14, which aims to implement President Donald J. Trump's America First agenda. Nehls expressed his approval in a statement following the vote.
"I proudly voted to pass the House Budget Resolution, which unlocks the process to advance President Trump’s agenda in one, big beautiful bill," said Congressman Nehls. He emphasized that the resolution focuses on prioritizing American interests by addressing several key areas.
According to Nehls, the budget resolution seeks to control excessive spending and enhance border security. It also aims to strengthen national defense and continue the tax cuts introduced during Trump's presidency. Additionally, it intends to promote energy independence within the United States.
Nehls highlighted that the November elections signaled a demand for change from American citizens. "In November, the American people mandated change, and this bill allows us, as Congress, to deliver on our promises," he stated.
