City Of West University Place issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
All City offices will be closed Friday, January 1st in observance of New Year's Day. Offices will reopen on Monday, January 4th.
Holiday Trash Schedule:
Friday, January 1st - There will be no curbside trash, recycling and yard waste collection on Friday. Recycling and yard waste normally scheduled for Friday will be collected on Wednesday, December 30. Please hold your trash until your next regularly scheduled day (Tuesday, January 5th). There are no service changes to Monday, Tuesday or Thursday collection days.
Christmas Tree and String Light Recycling has begun! Visit, westutx.gov/specialevents to learn how you can recycle your Christmas Tree and Christmas String Lights. This program ends on Friday, January 15th.
Recreation Center Hours:
Thursday, December 31st: 6am - 5:30pm
Friday, January 1st: Closed
