WASHINGTON, D.C. – On April 26, Congressman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX-22) issued the following statement after voting for the Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023:
“I proudly voted for the Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023, which responsibly raises the debt ceiling, limits radical out-of-touch spending in Washington, and saves taxpayers trillions of dollars,” said Congressman Nehls. “House Republicans took historic action to strengthen the American economy, protect American families, and responsibly raise the debt ceiling while saving $4.8 trillion over ten years, according to the “gold standard” Congressional Budget Office. While President Biden and Democrats have no intention to work with Republicans in Congress to curb reckless government spending, Republicans are committed to restoring fiscal sanity and stopping Washington’s spending spree.”
