Memorial Super Neighborhood issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.
The US Army Corps of Engineers has released their Buffalo Bayou and Tributaries Resiliency Study Interim Report. The report details the findings and recommendations resulting from studies initiated in response to Hurricane Harvey in 2017. A number of project alternatives are presented including a major widening of Buffalo Bayou from the dams all the way to downtown and the ship channel. The public comment period closes on November 2, 2020.
